Completed commission for ~medusa3139. I hope she enjoys it as much as I do!

The prompt, if I remember, was for something darkly romantic. (Or Romantic, rather.) I had my doubts about my ability to fulfill it, but I think the project turned out rather well. It's sort of a symbolism mishmash--enclosed areas against open ones, symbols of fragility and persistence and death and renewal all thrown together--but if I've played my cards right that should allow for a flexibility of interpretation.

(Wait, do skeletons count as violence/gore? Opinions in the comments.)

Thanks, Moko! It was an interesting project--probably something I wouldn't have tried without medusa pushing me towards it, but I'm glad I did.

Coool. It's very beautiful. It's like he waited and waited for a lover that never came and rotted away from a broken heart or the likes. Okay, I shall stop right here, I am getting too mushy and whatnot. I feel ridiculous. xD

XD Aw. Well, it's not a very sensible image, so if anything the fault is mine. Still, thank you!

Pretty! I really like the sense of light in this, as well as the overlapping greens of the vines.
And it's always fun finding your sneaky initials.

And I should have made my initials EVEN SNEAKIER.

Thank you! The vines were intentional, but I really stumbled upon the light without thinking about it. All I knew was I wanted to keep all the detail in the foreground, so having a gradient-y sort of sunset backdrop made sense.

Great composition, lovely details. I'd add this to favourites more than once, if possible.
